The Juvenile Probation Office is a social service agency which makes decisions in cases involving alleged criminal acts committed by youths under 18 years of age. After finalization of a case, the office supervises the youth and family to develop programs to treat and assist the family in finding solutions to their child's situation. Reports to the courts are made intermittantly. The office is also responsible on matters concerning sentencing and probation of the child.
