Washington County Booking Center

The Washington County Booking Center opened in April 2008 and booked over 1200 offenders on probation supervision within the first eight months. In October 2008, operations expanded to include fingerprint orders from the Magisterial District Judges. Since October 2008, the Booking Center has processed over 500 offenders charged with Retail Theft and/or Driving under the Influence. The Booking Center is currently staffed by probation officers from the Adult and Juvenile Probation departments.

The twin goals of the Booking Center are: (1) to efficiently process offenders charged with criminal actions with the intent to return officers to their communities as quickly as possible, and (2) to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of criminal history record information. Equipment in the Booking Center permits the positive identification of offenders by their fingerprints and the updating of their criminal histories within minutes.

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
No appointment necessary

You must bring the following with you when reporting to the Booking Center:

1. Valid Photo identification
2. All paperwork issued by the Magisterial District Judge

Additional Information

• Fingerprinting for employment processing has a $20.00 fee. The fee is to be paid in the Washington County Treasurer’s Office located at Courthouse Square, First Floor, 100 West Beau Street, Washington, PA 15301. Payment receipt must be provided to Booking Officer prior to processing.
• Adoption applicants and Public Housing Authority applicants will be fingerprinted without charge.
