Clerk of Courts

The Office of Clerk of Courts is located on the first floor of the Washington County Courthouse. The public is welcome to visit us at any time, as the Courthouse is “your house”. 

 All matters of a criminal nature are maintained by the Clerk of Courts. All motions or petitions having direct affect on particular case are filed with the Clerk of Courts Office. Also kept on file are petitions for election districts, appointments of elected officials, tax collection bonds and other related documents. Additionally, collection statements and payment plans are mailed each month to criminal defendants who are required to pay fines and costs.

  • Record searches for the municipal police department, the Pennsylvania State Police, outside government agencies and for the Department of Public Welfare.
